| General Information |
- Output resolution is 600dpi.
- We normally print using 6 ink colors. This gives a
smooth printout with apparent resolution of 1200 dpi.
- Maximum material width is 60" (59.5"
printable). Some materials are only available in 50" (49.5"
printable).
- Print length is up to 100" depending on
material and roll length.
|
| File Setup |
- Include all linked files, images, graphics and
fonts when submitting files for printing.
- Keep files in their native application if designed
in one of the supported programs below.
- Set-up files at 100% if the application supports
it. If this is not possible please be sure to indicate the percent of
enlargement or reduction.
- Leave at least 1/8" bleed to allow for
trimming.
- Apply Crop marks to the file if possible. Marks
should be 1/8" from the live image area.
|
| Imported Graphics |
- Scanned images reproduce much better as RGB files.
Images should be saved in TIF or EPS format.
- Size images at 200-300 ppi at the final output
size for best results. Lower resolutions can be used but may produce
slightly soft looking images. This is normally not noticeable at
viewing distances of 5 feet or more.
- If files are scaled be sure to adjust scan
resolution to match. Example: (if file is to be output at 200% then
your scan resolution should be 400-600 ppi)
|
| Fonts |
- Include all fonts when sending your files for
output.
|
| Colors |
- Files will be printed as you provide them, unless
indicated otherwise.
- If you need to match certain colors, please
indicate what the desired colors are and we can adjust your file as
close as possible. There is an additional cost for color matching.
- In general we can reproduce about 80% of the
Pantone colors accurately. Colors from the Trumatch system match about
90-95% accurately.
- We do not recommend using you monitor to choose
spot colors. They will print much different.
- We use the Photoshop Colormatch colorspace, please
do not use sRGB colorspace when editing your images. Your print will
not look good. We can color correct your image. (Add'l charge may
apply)
- You should calibrate your monitor. This can be
done with the Adobe Gamma program or the Calibrate option in the newer
Macintosh OS. Other hardware can be purchased for better calibration.
|
| Hardcopy |
- Include a rough printout to show what the final
output should look like.
